I frequent a music mong board called GYBO.
Today, one of the regulars on the board lost his son to ependymoma, a cancerous brain tumour.

His blog of the boy has been very moving to read and has made me think about what I take for granted. Life is wasted and flitted away by so many and the poor little blighter didn't even get a chance.
I'm pretty skint at the moment (is there a time when I'm not?) but gave some money to the Shooting Star Children's Hospice.

I don't dig kids and hardly know Colin but the story of the boy has moved me immensely. If you feel like your life is shite and need a shake up to realise how good you really have it, go read.
